I always feel uncomfortable saying "HAPPY" Memorial Day because it is such a serious holiday - remembering those who served and gave the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. Instead I'll say: "God bless".
Thank you again for joining us!

I totally relate to how to say "Happy Memorial Day" or "Have a Great Memorial Day Weekend". It seems so inappropriate, yet most Americans treat the weekend as a holiday, so that is what I usually say. But it does feel odd to wish happiness on a day were suppose to be remembering the lost.
ReplyDeleteAnother great month of sharing, thank you! Melynda @scratchmadefood!
ReplyDeleteI hope you enjoyed the Holiday weekend!!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for hosting!! I really appreciate the time and effort that goes into it along with visiting all the links!!
