The Question Mark Butterfly
With the arrival of Spring, I've been able to work outside and begin my 2019 garden. I was doing some edging (sometimes the grass creeps in and shortens the size of my garden - I have to reclaim the lost land). Anyway, I spotted this bright orange butterfly. It was totally different from the orange of a Monarch and I'm thankful that I was able to snap a few photos. After some online research I discovered that this species is called: The Question Mark Butterfly (or Polygonia interrogationis). It lives in wooded areas, which is exactly where I saw this beauty.
