Tithonia Torch - a.k.a. Mexican Sunflower
The color of this amazing flower is indescribable. This orange color is dark and bright at the same time. In shady areas it looks very red and then in bright sunshine it seems almost yellowish orange. Absolutely stunning to say the least.
The leaves are also unique in color - it is a darker green than most other sunflower varieties. The shape of these leaves are also like nothing I've ever seen before.
ENJOY the following pictures!
All photos were taken by me (Angie Ouellette-Tower) and the sunflowers were all grown in my garden.
