The Abundant Harvest American Flag

When I think of the United States of America I think of freedom, strength, bravery and abundance.  I think of beautiful farmland stretching from sea to sea over the 4th largest country by land mass in the world. 

I created the flag above using a program called "GIMP".  I took some of my detailed photos of fruit and vegetables from previous blog posts from the last 2 years and cut, copied & pasted them into an American flag.  It's not perfect - there are only 39 stars and the bottom of the "blueberry" box shows a red line - but I had fun creating the flag, so please forgive the little areas of imperfection.

    Hope you had a great Canada Day! Sorry to have missed you - but the computer hiccups are only just resolving themselves, and blog hopping etc. have had to be given a miss. Good to be back again though!
