Unique Tomatoes: Tiny Teaspoon & Green Striped
Every year I like to try growing a few different and unique types of tomato varieties. These are both heirloom tomatoes:
Tiny Teaspoon Tomatoes
&
Large Green Striped Tomatoes

Tiny Teaspoon Tomatoes
These tiny gems are so sweet and delicious. They are perfect sprinkled over a salad and they give a unique popping texture of sorts when chewing the salad. The only downside to this tomato is that it's very tedious harvesting.
In the fourth picture below you will see these tiny tomatoes mixed in with some of my cherry tomatoes (just so you can see the size compared to a cherry tomato):
Large Green Striped Tomatoes
These are almost as big as "Beefsteak" tomatoes. The stripe does not continue on the inside but they are very much worth growing. It is a little difficult knowing when to harvest since it is green but when there is a little yellowish color in the stripes, then that is when it should be harvested. This is a tart tomato - it's kind of like the "Granny Smith" of tomatoes:
ENJOY!
