Strange Stuff#5 - Strange RAINBOW Formation

Rainbow

Strange Stuff #5 - Strange Rainbow Formation

This is the fifth post in the series called: "Strange Stuff".  So many people shudder or blindly flee from anything labeled "conspiracy."  Why should we trust a single person's opinion that a certain topic is a "conspiracy theory"?

Let's begin by defining:
Conspiracy Theory - (Merriam-Webster) a theory that explains an event or set of circumstances as the result of a secret plot by usually powerful conspirators.

Well, I am NOT a "Conspiracy Theorist" but rather a "Conspiracy Analyst."

StrangeStuffConspiracy

Our fourth topic in this series was also about the eclipse

Today we are going to talk about RAINBOWS, and specifically a strange rainbow formation that I recently captured on film (it was in my garden).

A few weeks ago we finished a three-part series on Noah and in the last part we learn about the original and only true rainbow (click HERE to view "Trees #16(c) - NOAH After The Flood")

In the cover picture (the first picture above) - you will notice this strange rainbow formation where the arrow is pointing.  There is also a small section of a regular rainbow in the top left of that photo (I did NOT place an arrow pointing to that rainbow).

In the picture below I'm going to call this a forked double rainbow.  I've never seen anything like it and I have no explanation either.
(If you can explain what's going on here, then please do so in the comments at the end of this post - Thank you).

In this next picture below it looks like this is the bottom of a double full circle rainbow???  (again, I don't know).

There is an order to the 7 colors in our Heavenly Father's glorious rainbow (see diagram below):

RainbowColors

Because of the beautiful sunshine, it is difficult to see where the rainbow sections are located.  Therefore, in the diagram below I traced the lines of the rainbow in the duplicate picture so that you can compare and see exactly the rainbow sections.

Even if I never understand how this happened or what it is exactly, I can still marvel at His creation.  I don't need an explanation to be amazed at the Creator's glorious handiwork.

ENJOY!

God's Power Within Us #10 - A Spirit of Gentleness

SundayPower10

God's Power Within Us #10 - A Spirit of Gentleness

Today we continue learning about God's Power within us.  God's Word is full of passages talking about His power and showing us that we have nonstop access to His strength every second of every day.

Today we will be focusing on 1 Corinthians 4:20-21

Remember, Jesus said that we (Spirit filled Christians) are able to perform all of the miraculous works that Jesus did when He was here in human form.  Actually, Jesus said that we would do EVEN GREATER than what He did (see Scripture passage below).

SundayPower

John 14:12-14 also shows us how powerful the name of Jesus Christ is:  "If you ask anything in My name".  (It is important to note that these miracles must glorify our Heavenly Father).

Below is the featured "power" passage for August:

1 Corinthians 4:20-21

Just last Sunday we began a new series on "Energy, Frequency & Vibration" (click HERE to view).  We are learning about the power of God's Word.  However, in verse 20 below it might sound like the opposite of what we learned last week.  Actually, it does not mean the opposite.  Here's another way of saying that verse:
"the kingdom of God is not just somebody babbling and making up a story because it's actually backed up by God's power!" (my version)

SundayPower10a

God's power is not abusive.  Just like it says in verse 21 - when we are Spirit filled would we ever come at you and hit you with a rod??? - NO!  Of course not.  God's Spirit is gentle. Now that does NOT mean that there's no such thing as "righteous indignation" (like when Jesus overturned the money-changers tables in the tabernacle on the Sabbath).  There's a time for justice and a time for gentleness.  Let's define "gentleness":

Gentleness - meek, humble, mild and calm

I am reminded of a passage in Proverbs (see below).  By being gentle and treating our enemies with calm, caring attitude and actions, we are actually frustrating our enemies.

"If your enemy is hungry, give him bread to eat;
And if he is thirsty, give him water to drink;
For so you will heap coals of fire on his head,
And the Lord will reward you."
Proverbs 25:21-22

Love and gentleness are very powerful.

Garden Destroying Critters

2024-08-009

Garden Destroying Critters

This garden season has been a devastating year due to critter tampering.  Our sweet potatoes have been annihilated and most of my sunflowers have been chomped.  And then a third of the corn was pulled to the ground before I had a chance to net it off.
The main critter culprit was the groundhog.  The corn heist was done by the raccoons.

Below you will see how the raccoons flattened the stalks making it easy to remove the cobs of corn.

If you look closely you will notice the raccoon laughing at us from his high vantage point in the maple tree (see picture below).

Then my sweet potatoes - one of my favorite veggies.  Both the sunflower destruction and the sweet potato annihilation are equally the most heartbreaking.
I have always had issues with deer jumping the fence to eat the tender sweet potato plants and that's why I have a deer net draped loosely over the plants.  For the past 7 years this netting method has kept all critters away.  Well, this year the groundhogs found their under the netting.  Just look at the flattening of the beautiful vines!!!

The picture below is what a normal lush sweet potato patch looks like (this picture is from last year/2023):

Now look at the 2024 sweet potato vine below - looks like it was mowed.

Finally, my beautiful sunflowers.  As you know I have been featuring different sunflower varieties every year for the past 13 years - I have featured 40 plus sunflower varieties so far.
You will notice that the first picture below seems fine.

Then look at the stripped down sunflower foliage.

This is the lower part of that first sunflower picture above.  It has a large bit taken out but the sunflower continues to grow towards God's glorious sunlight everyday.

I have had critter issues in the past:
