Corn Poppies - Charming & Prolific

I have never grown poppies before this year - I had no idea how detailed they are, nor did I realize the variety of the seed pods (middle of the flowers).

Corn poppies are the variety of poppy where we get the type of seed most commonly used for baking.  Earlier this year I shared with you a poppy seed cookie recipe:
