44 Sunflower Varieties & Counting......
We are supposed to get a deep freeze weather system moving in this weekend, so it's
the perfect time to share a compilation of all the gorgeous sunflower varieties that I have grown over the past 13 years. I can't believe I've already grown 44 different varieties!!! God never ceases to amaze me with His glorious creation.
I am just starting to search for new varieties to grow in my 2024 garden.
Before showing the featured pictures, I want to share with you why sunflowers are my favorite flower. Sunflowers always turn towards the sun - you can literally see them gently turning throughout the day to follow the sun. To be very clear - I am NOT a "sun" worshiper. However, I am a "Son" worshiper: Jesus Christ The Son of God and I strive every day to grow and turn towards Him in every aspect of my life.
