Homegrown Shiitake Mushrooms (A First For Me)
This mushroom variety was a first for me, both in growing and tasting. They are now one of my favorite varieties!!! Like the Lion's Mane they are not only culinary but medicinal. (I am not giving medical advice - simply sharing what I researched) - These mushrooms are high in copper (good for blood vessels, bones & immune health), they are said to lower cholesterol and help with the immune system.
Previously featured homegrown mushroom varieties:
Snow Oyster
Pink Oyster
Morel (wild, grown outside)
Golden Oyster
Lion's Mane
Italian Oyster
Blue Oyster
