"The Wrong Seed" Sunflower
This is the tenth year showcasing sunflower varieties grown in my garden. I have had some difficult sunflower seasons in the past and this year also had some problems. Today is the second post in the Sunflower Series of 2020 and today I am featuring a solid red sunflower variety.................wait - that is NOT what the above picture is showing. That's right, the seed company sent me the wrong seeds. Actually, there was one seed in this packet that was actually red. The picture below is what this variety should have looked like:
The remaining pictures below feature what the majority of this seed packet actually looked like. Yes, I agree, it is a very beautiful sunflower but it is not what I ordered. Therefore, I have given this variety a new name - it is "The Wrong Seed" sunflower variety.
