ProCut Gold F1 Sunflower
This is the tenth year showcasing sunflower varieties grown in my garden. Today is the first post in the Sunflower Series of 2020.
It has been a difficult year for my sunflowers. There were critter and insect attacks. I grew four different varieties but only two made it through. I will however, be featuring the issues that happened to the two unfortunate varieties in a separate post.
Today's featured variety is what many think of as the traditional sunflower. Often the middle of yellow sunflowers is brownish in color - this variety matches it's name because it is gold all around (petals and middle included).
