Worship Wednesdays #4 - SPIRITUAL WARFARE

This is the fourth post in a new series called "Worship Wednesdays".  In this series I will focus on one word, thought or lesson and I will feature a modern Christian song that relates to the focus of the day.

Let's begin by defining WORSHIP - the feeling or expression of adoration for a deity.  Adoration, love, devotion, adulation, glorify, exalt, praise.

There are many ways to worship God but in this series it will be through music.

“Seven times a day I praise you.” 

Psalm 119:164

SPIRITUAL WARFARE - is defined best by the following Bible verse:

We do not fight the way the world does - see next verse below:
"For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does.  The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds.  We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ."
2 Corinthians 10:3-5
