Potatoes on Our Plates

As I mentioned yesterday, this week is Potato Week on my blog (mostly anyway - there will be a few non-potato posts).  With Thanksgiving & Christmas coming just around the corner I wanted to provide a compilation of all the potato recipes that I have shared with you to date.

    My momma made the most awesome potato cakes. I can still taste them when I think about it. I used to love it when she would fry these up in her old iron skillet. Mine never tasted like hers and I've not made then in probably 30 years. Wow, my kids have never tasted a potato cake! I've got to remedy that immediately. My eyes are full of tears now but it's because the memory is wonderful. Thanks Angie for the inspiration and the wonderful memories of my mother.
