Oh the Glorious Leaves!
I am blessed to live on a property that has many trees - Maple, Pine, Oak, Hemlock, Walnut, Fruit Trees & more!
Many people might think that having trees on your property means work - but it is "good for you" kind of work. You are outside in the fresh air, soaking in some Vitamin D and getting a good workout - upper body from raking & lower from walking the leaf filled tarp to the burn pile or the compost pile. It's all good!
I have to admit that I was a little worried this year that I would miss the burn deadline. The township that I live in only allows you to burn yard brush for 2 months in the fall - October & November. This year the leaves hung on and didn't start falling until the beginning of November - all at once! But thankfully my husband & I made the deadline - our yard is all raked up!
ENJOY the following pictures - all taken by me (Angie Ouellette-Tower).

The pictures are beautiful. It's so much fun to tromp through the leaves and hear them crunch. It's one of the great things about fall.

Great pictures, Angie! I love the leaves this time of year. It is not Thanksgiving time for me without them.
ReplyDeleteI enjoy gardening too. The leaves are so pretty aren't they. I wouldn't be without trees either.
ReplyDeleteI miss this about my home. I live in the States and I'm originally from SC where the leaves change. This is my first fall in CA and it's not the same at all :(
ReplyDeleteI see the beauty...but I also see work. However, my husband mowed them up this year, and it was much easier.
ReplyDeleteHi Angie,
ReplyDeleteWe love all of the leaves, and the dog is beautiful. Thank you so much for sharing with Wednesday's Adorned From Above Link Party. Have a great week.
