Turning an Old Shed Into a Playhouse - The Finishing Touches
Over the past few weeks I've been sharing with you this lovely little shed and it's transformation into an enchanting playhouse.
We began with The Rainbow Sunflower Mural (click HERE to view)
Then came the Puffy Flower Curtains (click HERE to view)
Today we complete the Playhouse with The Finishing Touches
The girls had so much fun accessorizing their shed playhouse - little stuffed animals hanging from the side of the curtain rod, dried flower arrangements, hanging pictures on the wall, adding a clock.....etc
My sister found this futon at a garage sale and that made it possible for the girls to actually sleep in their playhouse!! (see picture below)
We were able to extend the life of an old "Kitchen Playset" that the girls were no longer using.
And finally, the inside of the door had to have a sign with their names on it - at times this playhouse can become "Meghan & Paige's Café "
The girls were 6 years old when we first transformed this shed - now they are 8 years old and enjoy playing inside just as much as they did 2 years ago.
