Christmas Cookies - Springerle
This is a German cookie and this recipe was originally from the Frankenmuth Michigan area but I have tweaked it over the years. I am not a fan of black licorice but these anise cookies are delicious!
This recipe is available in my ebook:
The Springerle Rolling pin on the left and Springerle Boards in the middle and right (I only use the Boards). |
ENJOY!
Adorable cookies.
ReplyDeleteWow, this looks delicious. When I was a kid, my mom and sister and I used to make a TON of Christmas cookies - now I'll have a new recipe to try! Thank you for sharing, and for the great pictures and instructions!

ReplyDeleteThat's a lot of cookies! I haven't started the Christmas baking yet. Everyone at our house has different favorites, so I have to make them all every year!
